Paid to Read Programs

Paid to Read(PTR)/ Paid to Click(PTC) programs pay money for you to read e-mails and visit the web sites with links in the e-mail. Each time you open an e-mail and click on the link within the e-mail, you will be paid a certain amount. These e-mails will be for the most part advertisements of new products or services.

Concept

Companies want people to read about their products and services and hopefully make a purchase. By visiting their web site you can learn about what the company offers and hopefully purchase one of their items or services. Companies want to get potential customers to visit their web sites and thus are willing to pay to increase traffic and hopefully increase sales. They pay Paid-to-Read companies a certain amount for each time a member visits their web site, and thus, to promote you to read e-mails and visit the web site, these programs pay you.

Joining Steps

To work with these programs, there are a few steps you most complete.

First, you must make sure you have access to an e-mail account. If you do not have an account, you can register one for free at Yahoo! or Hot Mail as well a number of other web sites.

Then, you will need to open and account with an online payment system such as eGold, Money Bookers, and PayPal. These programs allow you to receive and send money online and transfer funds from your account to your bank account.

After you have both an e-mail account and an account at an online payment gateway, all you have to do is register with a program, read e-mails, and get paid. The money will be sent to your PayPal, eGold, Money Bookers or other online payment system account, and can then be transferred to your bank account.

Making Money Online

Paid-to-Read Programs are great ways to make a few extra bucks each month and should be treated as such. Spend some time each day reading e-mails and clicking on links, but be sure to keep it in proportion because chances are, it won't be enough to live off by any stretch of the imagination. It can be a great source of money to help pay the bills and thus you should participate, but be sure not to spend all of your time signing up with programs and reading e-mails.

Also, to insure that you are not scammed, be sure to sign up with a company with a good reputation. Unbiased forums are a great place to gather some information before you register.
